Welcome to Hibana

Welcome to a place where fire, nature, and hospitality exist in quiet harmony.

Nestled in the timeless landscape of Ubud, Hibana draws inspiration from the Japanese tradition of Robatayaki, where the gentle glow of charcoal reveals the true character of every ingredient. With respect for the seasons and a devotion to craftsmanship, each course is prepared with intention and served with sincerity.

Guided by the spirit and warmth of Balinese hospitality, we believe that true luxury is found not only in exceptional cuisine, but in the feeling of being genuinely cared for.

May your time with us be unhurried, memorable, and quietly inspiring.

The Art of Fire

Inspired by the Japanese tradition of Robatayaki, cooking over binchotan charcoal is an exercise in patience, precision, and respect for the ingredients. The fire is never there to overpower, but to reveal what is already present.

From yakitori prepared skewer by skewer to carefully selected seafood and cuts of meat, each ingredient meets the charcoal in its own way. The gentle heat, the subtle smoke, and the instinct of the chef come together to create something that is both simple and deeply considered.

Because the art of cooking over fire is not in how much is done, but in knowing exactly what is needed.
